Base Salary
$90k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain public and private cloud infrastructure focused on reliability and scalability.
- Build and maintain internal developer environment tooling in Go and Python.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve availability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Monitor production and development environments to proactively resolve issues.
- Contribute to incident response and continuous improvement efforts.
- Help define and evolve the platform engineering roadmap.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Software Development Life Cycle experience, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments.
- 5+ years of public cloud experience (GCP or AWS).
- 3+ years of systems and networking experience.
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, GKE, and Docker.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python and/or other scripting languages; Go experience is a plus.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling including GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
- Familiarity with config management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with Incident Management processes and SRE best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to independently scope and execute complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with SIP telephony is a plus.
