Base Salary
$115k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a product team to shape and build Wise’s product.
- Create high-performing, scalable systems using modern software engineering practices.
- Configure and use AI coding tools such as Codex and Claude Code for implementation, testing, and documentation while rigorously validating generated code.
- Own product components or features through conceptualization, delivery, and monitoring.
- Understand and address customer needs related to international money transfers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback to peers.
Requirements
- Have or be graduating in 2026 or 2027 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or another field; a technical degree is not required.
- Be ready to start a full-time role in September 2027.
- Know computer science fundamentals and at least one major programming language, such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, or Swift.
- Be willing to use AI development tools daily and explain any AI-generated code submitted.
- Demonstrate commitment to good coding practices and constructive peer code reviews.
