Responsibilities
- Provide quality consulting and drive testing delivery across projects.
- Champion Quality Engineering and mentor team members to support high performance and professional growth.
- Build and maintain QA automation frameworks and create comprehensive functional, regression, integration, non-functional, and negative test strategies and scripts.
- Perform data, API, Salesforce, NetSuite, integration, performance, scale, security, load, and soak testing.
- Lead hands-on implementation of AI testing tools, including evaluation, piloting, rollout, impact measurement, prompt libraries, and AI-assisted test workflows.
- Embed AI capabilities into CI/CD, including self-healing locators, risk-based test selection, and automated defect triage with human review and privacy controls.
- Test Salesforce and NetSuite AI-enabled features and integrations for accuracy, bias, data leakage, and prompt-injection risks.
- Manage defects in Jira, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support prevention of recurring defects.
- Refine acceptance criteria into automated tests, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to Agile Scrum planning, estimation, refinement, and code reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or in a similar role.
- Extensive experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Strong coding, code review, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for defect management and tracking.
- Extensive data testing experience and expertise in API automation testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with negative, boundary, load, soak, integration, performance, scale, and security testing.
- Solid experience testing Salesforce customizations and integrations, plus working knowledge of NetSuite testing and wider IT integrations.
- Demonstrable experience implementing AI tools in QA or engineering teams with measurable results.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding and testing tools, LLM APIs, and prompt engineering, plus understanding of AI risks, governance, and validation of AI-generated tests and AI-enabled features.
- Knowledge of public cloud, especially AWS; fault-resilient services; Copado; databases, schemas, SQL queries, and database-side validation is desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and relevant QA or Salesforce certifications are preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with availability to work UK hours.
