Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop data curation strategies for user interaction and BCI data.
- Implement BCI decoding algorithms as performant software.
- Evaluate software using simulated and real neural data and BCI hardware in the loop.
- Participate in code reviews and develop new features and tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, neuroscience, and quality teams to identify and capture needs and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent real-world experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- High proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Rust, C++, or C and demonstrated professional experience with multiple programming languages.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and experience collaborating with machine learning practitioners.
- Working knowledge of operating systems concepts and performant software.
- Familiarity with signal processing and time-series data processing concepts and algorithms is preferred.
- Experience with quality management systems, such as in medical device development, aviation, finance, or defense, is preferred.
