Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, API, and integration test suites using Python/pytest, Playwright, and REST API testing tools.
- Build and maintain automated regression pipelines in CI/CD environments, monitor pipeline health, and resolve flaky tests.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and basic security test plans and cases.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using established defect management procedures.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers in design reviews, sprint planning, code reviews, and feature development.
- Create QA documentation including test plans, test summary reports, and deployment checklists.
- Share QA automation knowledge and best practices with the Krakow QA team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of QA engineering experience focused on test automation in a B2B software or SaaS environment.
- Proficiency with Python/pytest for automation or experience with another programming language.
- Experience with REST API testing and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of test automation practices, the test automation pyramid, Page Object Model, defect management, and Agile/Scrum development.
- Familiarity with load, stress, performance, and basic security testing concepts, including OWASP.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferred: Playwright or Selenium experience and familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Preferred: Understanding of Linux and Windows installation and configuration.
- Preferred: Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, UTM, or similar virtualization tools.
- Preferred: Proficiency with shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Preferred: Experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar packet capture tools.
- ISTQB CTFL certification is preferred.
