Responsibilities
- Define and evolve enterprise integration strategy, patterns, standards, technical specifications, and architectural documentation.
- Design and oversee scalable integrations across diverse on-premise and cloud systems and data sources.
- Select, implement, manage, and optimize middleware, enterprise service buses, message queues, and API gateways.
- Lead the design, development, governance, documentation, testing, versioning, and security of RESTful APIs.
- Architect and implement Camunda BPM business processes and workflows using BPMN and DMN.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, and guidance on integration design patterns and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, infrastructure teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and performance bottlenecks while improving reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive software development experience, including at least 5+ years as an Integration Architect or in a similar senior role.
- Extensive experience with enterprise service buses, message queues such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ, and API gateway solutions.
- Expertise designing, developing, and managing RESTful APIs with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, API keys, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Camunda BPM for workflow automation and process orchestration; Camunda Platform 7 or 8 experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, C#, Python, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with integration services on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI and understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise with JSON, XML, and Avro data formats.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master’s degree in Information Systems or Software Engineering.
- Relevant certifications listed include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Data Management Professional, CISSP, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, and TOGAF 9 Certification.
- Proficient English language skills at C2 level.
