Base Salary
$85k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain scalable, PDF-printable financial reports using Microsoft SSRS, Visual Studio, and RDL-based workflows.
- Build flexible, configurable, accurate, and pixel-perfect reports for client-facing financial and portfolio reporting.
- Write SQL queries, functions, and procedures to retrieve, load, and process data from PostgreSQL.
- Analyze reporting workflows, information-system processes, and data flows to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Write Python scripts to automate reporting, validation, and operational tasks.
- Use d1g1t REST APIs to generate, retrieve, and validate financial performance metrics.
- Deploy, test, QA, and troubleshoot report changes across client environments, including data retrieval, rendering, PDF output, formatting, calculations, and configurations.
- Improve reporting architecture, configuration patterns, QA processes, documentation, and internal workflows.
- Work with internal and client-facing stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of professional experience in software development, business-intelligence reporting, data reporting, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience building pixel-perfect paginated reports with SSRS, Visual Studio, RDLs, or closely related reporting technology.
- Strong SQL skills, including queries, functions, or procedures for relational databases.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or strong relational-database knowledge with the ability to learn PostgreSQL quickly.
- Experience using Python for automation, data manipulation, or reporting workflows.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and API-driven data or metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-control skills for financial data, formatting, and PDF outputs.
- Ability to troubleshoot data, layout, rendering, and performance issues in complex reporting environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes wealth management, portfolio or investment reporting, financial performance reporting, financial calculations, portfolio data, client-specific configurations, or multi-tenant reporting workflows.
- Clear communication, independent problem-solving, collaborative working style, and ability to learn and support complex systems.
