$116k - $137k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Vanta’s company website using Next.js, Sanity CMS, and Vercel.
- Own web features and workstreams end to end and deliver complex work reliably.
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead and contribute to technical discussions and decisions.
- Maintain Sanity CMS content models, schemas, and editorial workflows.
- Work with product, marketing, and engineering teams to integrate the website with product offerings.
- Implement analytics, A/B testing, and tracking systems to measure website performance.
- Maintain web performance, accessibility, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and WCAG standards.
- Build and integrate third-party services and APIs, including analytics platforms, marketing tools, and GTM/data-layer implementations.
- Use AI-assisted development workflows to improve build quality and delivery speed.
- Share knowledge and support teammates through collaboration and code review.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of web development experience with professional experience in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Next.js or comparable React-based frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, including familiarity with App Router, SSG, ISR, SSR, and Vercel deployment.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms, ideally Sanity CMS, including schemas, GROQ queries, and structured content.
- Strong command of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with knowledge of the DOM, accessibility, and browser rendering.
- Experience building responsive, cross-browser-compatible components for mobile and web.
- Experience creating accessible, performant, and localization-ready web experiences.
- Familiarity with third-party API and service integrations, analytics, tracking, and marketing tools.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and component-based design systems.
- Familiarity with modern developer tooling, version control using Git, and component-based development.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools responsibly.
- Collaborative communication style, strong problem-solving instincts, and attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Prior CMS migration or re-platforming experience, Webflow familiarity, design-system or Figma-to-code experience, component library development, and SEO/AEO knowledge are preferred.
