Responsibilities
- Lead Azure cloud architecture design, governance, and implementation oversight across client engagements.
- Define and govern Azure DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and enterprise delivery strategies.
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, security controls, identity and governance practices across Azure environments.
- Lead cloud assessments, migration and adoption strategies, technical reviews, and operational readiness activities.
- Design high-availability, disaster-recovery, scalability, resilience, networking, and enterprise connectivity architectures.
- Provide technical leadership from requirements and solution shaping through delivery oversight and operational handover.
- Mentor analysts and consultants and drive technical capability development and best-practice adoption.
- Contribute to pre-sales through solution shaping, estimations, proposals, workshops, and client presentations.
- Translate business strategy into technical architectures and delivery roadmaps while engaging senior stakeholders and executives.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and leading DevOps strategies using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and enterprise CI/CD platforms.
- Deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Strong Azure architecture knowledge covering platform services, enterprise migration, security, identity, and governance.
- Experience architecting and delivering complex Azure infrastructure and platform solutions across IaaS and PaaS.
- Expertise with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, monitoring, observability, and operational readiness.
- Experience designing high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and resilience strategies using Azure-native services.
- Strong Azure networking and enterprise connectivity experience, including Hub-Spoke, ExpressRoute, VPN, and network security architectures.
- Experience with Kubernetes technologies, including Azure Kubernetes, is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, RBAC, identity governance, and Zero Trust security principles.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, architecture oversight, decision-making, mentoring, client engagement, pre-sales solutioning, and executive communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, information technology, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps roles, including architecture and leadership responsibilities.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect certifications are highly desirable.
- Australian citizenship is required, along with willingness to obtain security clearance.
