Responsibilities
- Define and govern SAP Payroll technical architecture within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem.
- Design scalable, secure, and compliant payroll solutions and modernization roadmaps.
- Architect real-time and batch integrations across SAP Payroll, SAP HCM, SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, third-party payroll providers, time-and-attendance systems, finance, and workforce management platforms.
- Lead payroll solution design for S/4HANA implementation, migration, localization, statutory compliance, reporting, and reconciliation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership to SAP developers and integration teams and review specifications, developments, and custom enhancements.
- Guide ABAP development, payroll schema development, payroll functions and rules, Fiori applications, and workflow design.
- Lead payroll and HR master-data migration, conversion, validation, cleansing, reconciliation, cutover planning, and parallel-run activities.
- Define payroll security architecture and role design and support audit, regulatory, privacy, and data-protection controls.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, executives, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture governance, quality assurance reviews, design workshops, and strategic advisory activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP HR/HCM and Payroll.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture roles.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Deep expertise in SAP Payroll architecture and payroll processing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SAP HCM Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll.
- Experience integrating SAP Payroll with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, third-party payroll providers, time-and-attendance systems, finance, and workforce management platforms.
- Experience with SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, IDOCs, Web Services, and OData Services.
- Knowledge of payroll localization, statutory regulations, awards, taxation, superannuation, and government reporting requirements.
- Experience with payroll interfaces, reporting frameworks, reconciliation, data migration, security architecture, and role design.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, lead workshops, and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience with ABAP development, payroll schemas, payroll functions and rules, Fiori applications, and workflow design.
