Responsibilities
- Build tools, features, and frameworks for data and machine learning platforms.
- Develop data processing, insights portal, observability, lineage, model hub, and data visualization solutions.
- Create custom solutions from the ground up or customize open-source products for Apple’s needs.
- Extend the functionality of third-party business intelligence tools through APIs.
- Design and develop scalable, performant microservices and REST APIs.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications and products.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience with Java and/or Python.
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, performant microservices and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with big data technologies and data platforms.
- Experience with distributed computing technologies.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Prior AI, machine learning, or data science experience and familiarity with frontend frameworks are preferred.
