Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE enterprise applications.
- Work with Unix and Linux environments for application deployment and support.
- Use Struts and Spring to implement scalable application architectures.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs for communication between services.
- Perform SQL database design, querying, and performance tuning.
- Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
- Contribute to cloud migration and deployment strategies.
- Develop and maintain React front-end features.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on Java development experience with J2EE.
- Strong proficiency with Unix and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Struts and Spring Frameworks.
- Expertise in REST API design and integration.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Experience with React for front-end development.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include DevOps and CI/CD experience, Docker or Kubernetes knowledge, and Java or cloud technology certification.
