Responsibilities
- Own delivery of complex features or components from design through production.
- Drive system architecture and component-design discussions for the area of ownership.
- Partner with Product, UX, and other engineers to shape solutions during planning and execution.
- Align with senior engineers on shared technical decisions and identify quality and velocity improvements.
- Conduct peer code reviews and champion exploratory and AI-assisted testing practices.
- Mentor and support the growth of Associate and Software Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, microservices, and Kafka messaging.
- Demonstrated experience owning complex features end-to-end in frontend or backend systems.
- Familiarity with Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
- Experience with agentic platforms such as Microsoft Foundry, Agent Core, Google Vertex, or Amazon Bedrock.
- Hands-on professional experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Devin, or Windsurf.
- Informal mentoring or supporting junior engineers is a plus.
