Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, optimize, and apply software engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze and solve complex software engineering problems using scientific methods and original judgment.
- Drive technical decisions, innovation, industrialization, and high-level engineering outcomes.
- Supervise, educate, integrate, and build the capabilities of software engineering teams.
- Collaborate with software engineers, stakeholders, and clients while developing long-term partnerships.
- Own contractual, financial, technical, commercial, and people-related outcomes.
Requirements
- Very deep understanding of software development principles and technical proficiency.
- Mastery of all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to drive innovation and technical decisions.
- Ability to supervise and develop other software engineers and build effective teams.
- Strong understanding of contractual, financial, and technical considerations.
- Strong commercial management skills and a high degree of ownership of people issues.
