Base Salary
$191k - $293k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Tanium products alongside a collaborative development team.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new products and product ideas from the ground up.
- Develop large cloud-based data services, APIs, cloud storage integrations, and memory-efficient streaming and multipart data-transfer systems.
- Work with product management and customers to incorporate feedback into product development.
- Use infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, software development, and automation tools.
- Debug production issues, address root causes, and improve long-term code maintainability and supportability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a computer science degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of industry experience; 7 or more years is preferred.
- Eligibility for U.S. federal contract work; Canadian Reliability status (Protected B) is a plus but not required.
- Experience building large cloud-based data services and designing and developing APIs.
- Knowledge of at least one of Golang, C++, or Rust, with Golang preferred.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Azure or AWS database services, and cloud object storage such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
- Experience with memory-efficient streaming and multipart data-transfer systems.
- Experience with Terraform or Pulumi, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience writing automated tests, debugging production issues, and learning modern backend frameworks and tools.

- Annual base salary range of $191,000 to $293,000, plus equity awards and a benefits package.
