Responsibilities
- Develop the Event Distribution Platform and modernize the legacy Fidelity Electronic Notification System.
- Build cloud-native, event-driven, distributed systems supporting real-time and personalized communications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, event-streaming solutions, and scalable messaging platforms.
- Support software engineering best practices, including testing and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product owners, and business partners on enterprise-scale solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, event-streaming patterns, and scalable messaging platforms.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, continuous learning, and software engineering skills.
