Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software solutions across systems and applications.
- Prepare technical design specifications and provide architectural direction to engineering teams.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, and planning across engineering initiatives and feature delivery.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead design sessions, technical conversations, code reviews, and architecture initiatives.
- Mentor development staff and help build learning-oriented, successful engineering teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Lead or contribute to cloud, DevOps, and AI modernization initiatives.
- Translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- At least 10 years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also stated.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, systems engineering, and implementation or enhancement of systems.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Fluency in DevOps concepts and experience with application monitoring and performance assessment.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Completion of 15 years of full-time education.
