Base Salary
$154k - $278k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mission-critical software applications.
- Rapidly develop and deliver software solutions for emerging operational needs and evolving requirements.
- Develop front-end and back-end components for operational and data-analysis applications.
- Work with customers and end users to gather requirements and translate operational needs into technical solutions.
- Develop applications for analyzing and visualizing large and complex datasets, including geospatial data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, system, and data-related issues.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
- Research and integrate new technologies as mission and technical requirements evolve.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 15+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Current active TS/SCI security clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph.
- Demonstrated experience rapidly developing and delivering software for time-sensitive or evolving operational requirements.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#/.NET.
- Experience developing in Python.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, or Next.js.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Experience processing, analyzing, or visualizing large or complex datasets.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and translating user requirements into functional interfaces.
- Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with source-code repositories and version control, including Git and/or Subversion.
- Preferred experience with geospatial datasets, operational mission environments, cloud infrastructure and IaaS, ETL processes, large-scale datasets, CSV, JSON, XML, Docker, Kubernetes, and ActiveMQ.

- The position is located in Chantilly, Virginia.
- The stated pay range is $154,050.00-$278,475.00.
- Candidates must already possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to undergo a polygraph.
