Base Salary

$87k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance software for space-domain ground systems and real-time mission capabilities.
  • Modernize legacy applications and transition them to microservice-based architectures.
  • Build complete solutions using front-end and back-end programming languages.
  • Create solutions to complex problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation when applicable.
  • Use automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance when applicable.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience using languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience transitioning legacy applications to modernized microservice-based architectures.
  • Experience working with a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferred experience includes Agile environments, client requirements acquisition, workflow automation optimization, and automated testing tools.
  • Preferred experience includes C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, or Node.js.
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Candidates must complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
