Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end software systems, custom tools, and sites.
- Use Python and modern architectural approaches to create scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Implement, maintain, and support software development efforts for system modernization.
- Develop server-side applications, middleware, APIs, and application or data integrations.
- Identify potential risks and contribute to software solution development.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to solve complex problems.
- Complete the required skills assessment as part of the hiring process.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development for system modernization.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- At least 3 years of Python programming experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Experience solving complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with KVM, VMware, or Proxmox virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
- Preferred experience with server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, or core application systems.
- Preferred experience with automated testing tools and testing maintenance.
