Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and support software development used to modernize systems.
- Develop backend software, custom tools, systems, and sites using Python and modern architectural approaches.
- Create APIs, integrations, applications, and scalable solutions with consistent performance.
- Identify potential risks and contribute to solution development within cross-functional teams.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Write and enhance source code for new and existing applications.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development for system modernization.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- At least 3 years of Python programming experience.
- Experience solving complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree or at least 8 years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience includes KVM, VMware, Proxmox, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, and core application systems.
