Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics workloads using Azure DevOps across Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments.
  • Automate and manage Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, data pipelines, clusters, notebooks, jobs, and analytics workloads.
  • Develop infrastructure as code and configuration automation for Azure and multi-cloud environments using Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, and related tools.
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices, automated testing, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, security controls, data governance, and compliance practices.
  • Create automation scripts and operational tooling with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Shell, and Groovy, using cloud-native CLI tools.
  • Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, and GKE.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines, applications, cloud platforms, and reliability using monitoring and observability tools.
  • Support cloud migration and modernization of legacy data platforms to Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, customers, stakeholders, and offshore teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Lead by example, mentor team members, manage deliverables and project risks, and contribute to organization-wide people initiatives.
  • Assist clients with technology evaluations, RFPs, proposals, and solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Travel as required by client and job requirements.

Requirements

  • BE, B.Tech, or MCA degree.
  • 6–8 years of sound industry experience in cloud computing and multi-cloud environments, with Azure as the primary platform.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, release management, and environment provisioning.
  • Deep expertise with Azure Data Lake, Databricks including Spark and Delta Lake, and Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse, Data Engineering, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Shell scripting, Bash, and cloud-native CLI tools.
  • Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for infrastructure automation.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, or GKE.
  • Knowledge of cloud data governance, security, compliance, identity and access management, and network security.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, troubleshooting, and SRE practices.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, cost-effective data architectures and DevOps solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, oral, collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, and Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies and data-platform integration is preferred; Terraform Cloud and Ansible Tower knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead or support teams, manage offshore communication and deliverables, and present at a conference level is advantageous.
