Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, Vue.js, Nuxt, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces with HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern front-end practices.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.
- Design event-driven integrations using GCP Pub/Sub and CloudEvents.
- Implement authentication and authorization with Keycloak and JWT.
- Design, migrate, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases hosted on Google Cloud SQL.
- Build and deploy Docker-containerized microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
- Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests using pytest and Vitest.
- Implement and manage feature flags with LaunchDarkly.
- Participate in technical design, architecture planning, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical discussions.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal client teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and developers on a large-scale digital modernization initiative.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including hands-on full-stack development.
- Strong Python and Flask experience for backend application development.
- Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy and Alembic.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS/SCSS.
- Experience with Vue 2, Vue 3, class components, Pinia, and Nuxt 3.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, including JSON Schema.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Build.
- Experience with PostgreSQL data modeling, query optimization, and database migrations.
- Experience building microservices and containerized applications with Docker.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Cloud Build.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, GCP Pub/Sub, and CloudEvents.
- Experience with authentication and authorization solutions such as Keycloak and JWT.
- Experience implementing automated tests with pytest and Vitest.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with LaunchDarkly or similar feature-flag platforms is preferred.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications or migrating systems to cloud-native architectures is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale government or public-sector digital transformation projects is preferred.
- Experience with OpenAPI specifications, API-first development, technical mentorship, and client-team knowledge transfer is preferred.
Benefits
