Responsibilities
- Own corporate security programs from architecture through enforcement, including conditional access, phishing-resistant authentication, device compliance, SaaS governance, and zero-trust network access.
- Implement security controls as code using Terraform and reviewed GitHub pull requests with progressive, reversible rollouts.
- Drive adoption by writing technical proposals, aligning stakeholders, planning communications, and managing exceptions.
- Evaluate and secure SaaS integrations and AI tools while addressing shadow IT through risk-based responses.
- Lead corporate-perimeter incident investigations and improve Elastic SIEM detection rules and response playbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to peer review and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience securing corporate or enterprise environments across identity, endpoints, SaaS, and networks, including at least 2 years at a senior level.
- Experience building and enforcing production security controls and owning a significant security program end-to-end.
- Strong daily proficiency with GitHub, Terraform, and AI coding assistants such as Claude or equivalent.
- Deep expertise in identity and access management, identity providers, conditional access, OAuth and application governance, passkeys, and phishing-resistant MFA.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to carry proposals through cross-team adoption.
- Fluency in English is required; French-speaking ability or willingness to learn is a strong plus.
- Detection engineering or SIEM experience, including writing and tuning queries, is preferred.
- Interest in cloud, Kubernetes, and supply-chain security and experience in healthcare, fintech, or the public sector are preferred.
