Responsibilities
- Define and specify secure embedded architectures, including secure boot, firmware updates, and key management.
- Implement and integrate cybersecurity features such as cryptographic primitives, secure storage, and PKI in embedded software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate security into design and implementation workflows.
- Validate, test, and harden systems against stringent cybersecurity requirements.
- Lead technical cybersecurity risk analysis and threat modeling for embedded products.
- Support cybersecurity compliance efforts, including work with external stakeholders and certification bodies.
- Produce documentation aligning engineering work with compliance expectations.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Prior work experience in defense, aerospace, critical infrastructure, or other high-security domains.
- Strong expertise in embedded cybersecurity, secure firmware, or system hardening.
- Hands-on experience with C/C++ embedded development; Python familiarity is a plus.
- Understanding of hardware-security primitives, TPM/SE integration, cryptographic protocols, and PKI.
- Ability to handle large-scale, complex projects, develop innovative solutions, and lead teams to deliver results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders from junior members to senior executives.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and demonstrate strong ownership.
