Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure backend services for Key Manager, Secret Manager, and Audit Trail.
- Build high-performance APIs for cryptographic key management and secure access to sensitive resources.
- Integrate cryptographic operations with Hardware Security Modules through PKCS#11 interfaces.
- Contribute to the architecture, reliability, availability, resilience, and compliance of security-critical infrastructure.
- Develop scalable software using Go.
- Improve infrastructure automation and deployment processes using Terraform, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and logging solutions using tools such as Loki.
- Use PostgreSQL for reliable and secure data management.
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on complex security challenges.
Requirements
- Solid experience in backend software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps, ideally in security- or reliability-critical environments.
- Strong Go development skills, or proficiency in another backend language such as Python with the ability to become productive in Go.
- Understanding of cryptography, key management, and secure backend architectures.
- Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules and PKCS#11 interfaces, or strong interest in developing expertise in them.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs.
- Good knowledge of Linux environments, networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
- Experience with Docker, Terraform, Git, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and observability tools such as Loki.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and production environments.
- Familiarity with SecNumCloud or other security and compliance frameworks is preferred.
- Ability to take ownership, investigate complex technical challenges, collaborate effectively, and communicate technical decisions clearly.
