Responsibilities
- Design and implement reinforcement-learning environments simulating cybersecurity scenarios.
- Build scalable pipelines and infrastructure for generating synthetic cybersecurity training instances.
- Conduct model-capability experiments, evaluations, prototypes, and benchmark runs.
- Own container, sandbox, virtual machine, cloud deployment, and Kubernetes infrastructure managed as code.
- Collaborate with researchers and security specialists to create reproducible environments and datasets.
- Write efficient Python code and maintain strong testing, code review, and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in offensive or defensive cybersecurity, including vulnerability analysis, web, network, or cloud security, secure coding, and SOC work.
- Strong software engineering skills and experience writing clean, reliable, well-tested code.
- Fluency in Python and ability to read C/C++ for vulnerability analysis.
- DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployments, and sandboxed or simulated environments.
- Working knowledge of reinforcement-learning techniques and LLM training methodologies, or strong motivation to develop that knowledge.
- Collaborative, self-starting approach and ability to work across research and engineering.
- Preferred experience includes CTF, cyber-range, bug-bounty, cybersecurity research, RL environment development, large-scale ML training infrastructure, or relevant open-source contributions.
