Responsibilities
- Own target architecture and roadmaps for SDW platform capabilities, services, and integrations across multiple operating entities.
- Define architecture principles, patterns, APIs, event-driven designs, data and security guardrails, and ensure adoption across squads.
- Guide solution design for Angular micro frontends, Spring Boot services, and BFF-based capabilities while leading design reviews.
- Ensure non-functional requirements for availability, performance, security, observability, and cost efficiency are engineered into solutions.
- Align with Enterprise Architecture, CISO, and Platform teams on cloud, networking, IAM, API gateway, and observability standards.
- Orchestrate cross-squad dependencies and shared components, including AppShell, EPCs, and shared Kafka topics.
- Drive incremental modernization, reduce technical debt, and promote domain-driven design, microservices, BFF, and API-first approaches.
- Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and SRE practices.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers and solution architects across the tribe.
- Use telemetry, defect patterns, data, and AI-assisted insights to inform architecture decisions and automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Solution, Domain, or Tribe Architect leading large-scale digital platforms or CRM systems.
- Deep knowledge of Angular, micro frontend and AppShell patterns, API-first and event-driven architectures, Kafka, CISL, BFF, EPC or Anti-Corruption Layer, MFE, and Apigee API Gateway.
- Strong domain-driven design skills and experience with scalable, resilient backend architectures.
- Cloud architecture expertise with AWS EKS, containers, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
- Strong CI/CD and DevSecOps experience, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of security and privacy by design, OAuth2/OIDC, OWASP, data protection, observability, and performance engineering.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations.
- Experience working in globally distributed teams across Europe and APAC, including overlap with Central European business hours.
- Ability to produce architecture artifacts such as reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps and drive their adoption.
- Advanced familiarity with AI and generative AI technologies and their practical use in software architecture and delivery.
- Excellent English communication skills.
