Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of software or infrastructure development services for large or complex projects.
- Own the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of solutions or infrastructure while supporting technical standards and compliance.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex or escalated project issues.
- Provide advanced technical expertise and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Architecture teams to develop and deliver technical solutions.
- Lead the project work group by establishing appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools, and responsibilities.
- Drive consistency across technical processes, procedures, standards, and designs while gathering and addressing business and user requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more of C#, Java, or Python.
- More than 10 years of applied experience and significant relevant software or platform engineering experience.
- Experience delivering software or platform engineering solutions, providing technical advice, and handling user requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management, and automation tools such as GitHub and ADO.
- Proficiency in fine-tuning language models for tasks such as text generation, summarization, or question answering.
- Knowledge of embedding models and their use in similarity matching, clustering, and information retrieval.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing agentic systems that combine AI models with external tools or environments.
- Ability to design evaluation frameworks for AI models and agents, including metrics, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking.
- Significant experience building applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Microsoft, Google, or AWS certifications are advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
