Responsibilities

  • Lead technical deliverables, tasks, resources, budgets, and timelines for application engineering projects.
  • Develop and enhance robust, scalable .NET solutions and participate in the full delivery cycle from sprint planning through release.
  • Partner with application architects, business sponsors, project managers, and technical leads to define and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Identify project risks and technical problems, evaluate causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Mentor local and remote engineers, coordinate global application engineering teams, and monitor progress toward delivery goals.
  • Ensure adherence to application engineering methodologies, quality standards, coding practices, budgets, and timelines.
  • Provide expertise to internal IT teams, task forces, and other IT projects and programs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in application design and development.
  • Expertise with C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and Windows Services.
  • Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, views, functions, and T-SQL.
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Node.js, Angular, and HTTP REST calls.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, Power Query, SSRS, and SharePoint technologies.
  • Ability to lead and mentor global teams, including local and remote employees and contingent staff.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, decision-making, and project-management skills.
  • Experience working with vendor applications, external resource providers, and business relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while applying application engineering methodologies and Agile practices.
