Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for large or complex projects.
- Design, develop, deliver, maintain, and improve software or infrastructure solutions.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development process.
- Provide advanced technical expertise and technical leadership while identifying and implementing continuous improvement plans.
- Collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Architecture teams to develop and engineer solutions.
- Lead the work group by establishing appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools, and responsibilities.
- Define, maintain, and implement technology standards, processes, procedures, and technical designs.
- Design and implement language-model fine-tuning, embedding, agentic-system, and AI-model evaluation capabilities.
Requirements
- Advanced technical proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more of C#, Java, or Python.
- More than 10 years of applied experience.
- Significant experience in an internal or external software or platform engineering role or a similar position.
- Experience delivering software or platform engineering solutions, providing technical advice, and handling user requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management, and automation tools such as GitHub or ADO.
- Proficiency in fine-tuning language models for tasks including text generation, summarization, and question answering.
- Knowledge of embedding models and their use in similarity matching, clustering, and information retrieval.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing agentic systems that combine AI models with external tools or environments.
- Ability to design evaluation frameworks for AI models and agents, including metrics, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking.
- Microsoft, Google, or AWS certificates are desirable.
- Significant proven experience building applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
