Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own the design system using shadcn/ui and Tailwind.
- Design and ship full features from wireframe to production.
- Redesign and modernize existing user interfaces for speed and polish.
- Set the visual direction for a trustworthy and precise fintech product.
- Make architecture decisions regarding component composition and theming.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to accurately represent complex systems.
Requirements
- Strong command of shadcn/ui, Radix primitives, Tailwind CSS, and React/TypeScript.
- Portfolio or GitHub history showing complete products designed and built.
- Real product design judgment in typography, spacing, and information hierarchy.
- Comfort with ambiguity and decision-making in interaction patterns.
- Experience building or extending a design system in a production codebase.
- Bonus: experience in fintech, crypto, or data-dense product categories.
- Bonus: familiarity with Next.js, React Native, or motion/animation libraries.
