Base Salary

$149k - $201k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support at customer sites and integration events.
  • Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot software components across distributed systems.
  • Support the design and maintenance of communications infrastructure for field deployments.
  • Assist in the integration of command and control systems in tactical environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex software and system-level issues in the field.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to achieve integration milestones.
  • Document field findings and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on field observations.
  • Support pre-deployment testing and validation activities.
  • Serve as a trusted technical representative in customer-facing settings.
  • Participate in after-action reviews and contribute to lessons-learned processes.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving mission requirements in the field.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems or autonomous platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics and unmanned systems.
  • Experience with communications infrastructure in tactical environments.
  • Familiarity with command and control systems and integration patterns.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across software and system interactions.
  • Experience in fast-paced, field-based environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical customers.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
  • Comfortable operating in austere field environments.
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Background in defense programs or working with military end users.
  • Experience with DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery.
  • Familiarity with tactical software platforms and simulation environments.
  • Contributions to open-source robotics or autonomy projects.
  • Familiarity with defense interoperability standards.
