Responsibilities
- Lead the design of the DevOps strategy and evolve cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and future growth.
- Manage operational platforms and develop observability and detection capabilities to reduce problem discovery time and improve service stability.
- Build consensus among DevOps engineers across geographies and feature teams on tooling and practices, and establish agreed standards.
- Support reliable Kubernetes clusters and develop tooling and platforms that improve engineering self-service capabilities.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming language or automation tool, such as Python, Ansible, or shell.
- Software engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering background with experience in cost management, access management, and self-service platform development.
- Operations experience with Istio service mesh and Kubernetes, including traffic management and service mesh architecture.
- Expertise in public cloud, large-scale Kubernetes clusters and services, Istio service mesh, service registry, service discovery, infrastructure, and service reliability.
- For the senior level, approximately six years or at least five years of experience and the ability to independently solve coding and system design problems.
