Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Agile teams and ARTs.
- Provision and manage development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Use Terraform, Helmfile, Ansible, and Kubernetes manifests for reproducible and compliant infrastructure.
- Ensure availability and resilience across cloud and on-premises environments, including zero-downtime, blue/green, and canary deployments.
- Integrate automation for code quality, security scanning, release management, and monitoring.
- Coach software teams on version control, branching strategies, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
- Support Program Increment planning by preparing environments and pipelines.
- Implement secrets management, code signing, container scanning, and other shift-left security practices.
- Develop observability practices using monitoring, logs, traces, and delivery performance metrics.
- Collaborate with InfoSec and Compliance teams on security audits, risk assessments, and data assessments.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Work with system architects, Release Train Engineers, and multinational cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a recognized engineering degree.
- Strong expertise in Linux operating systems, including Linux process subsystems and file systems.
- Strong expertise in Linux shell scripting, including Bash.
- Strong expertise designing and deploying continuous integration pipelines for software development teams.
- Strong expertise in secrets management and configuration management within container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- Strong expertise designing, deploying, and securing OCI containerized workloads using technologies such as Docker and Kaniko.
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes-based container orchestration on on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience implementing proactive monitoring of production-grade environments, incident response, and security-threat mitigation.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry for monitoring and instrumentation in container orchestration frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience working in data center environments; mission-critical systems experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ownership of a DevSecOps mindset and experience guiding software teams in adopting it.
- Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist are desirable.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Kubernetes-integrated CI/CD, and cloud-native deployment strategies is desirable.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud, Amazon Cloud, Google Cloud, and SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models is desirable.
