Software Engineer II - Python

- Contribute to the design and development of a next-generation analytics platform.
- Collaborate with technologists, traders, and quants to deliver business solutions.
- Apply quantitative and machine learning techniques to data analysis.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and AI-assisted automation capabilities to improve engineering automation.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret large, diverse datasets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Develop, debug, and maintain secure, stable applications in a large corporate environment.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Experience developing with Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience with modern programming languages and database querying languages in a large corporate environment.
- AWS or other cloud certification is preferred.
- CFA, CQF, or another applied qualification is preferred.
- Experience with C#, HTML5, or JavaScript is preferred.
- Broad technology expertise across application, data, and infrastructure architecture, including Python, Java, SQL and NoSQL databases, and reactive or complex event processing, is preferred.
