Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and scale validation of GAIA OS networking infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to improve coverage, efficiency, and product reliability.
- Validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, high availability, routing, switching, and security capabilities across deployment scenarios.
- Identify, isolate, and help resolve complex software defects with development, architecture, and product teams.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, test automation, quality processes, and overall product resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in networking infrastructure testing and test automation for enterprise or security products.
- Strong understanding of Linux internals, the Linux networking stack, and operating system architecture.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, VLAN, ARP, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LLDP, and routing fundamentals.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages for scalable automation frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex system-level issues.
