Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality strategy for product features from design through release.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing for complex security use cases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support rapid, reliable releases.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams on acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks.
- Identify, debug, and root-cause issues using logs, metrics, and observability platforms.
- Contribute to build validation, regression cycles, release processes, and production readiness.
- Use AI tools to improve development velocity, debugging, and test generation.
- Continuously improve testing practices, frameworks, and tooling while advocating for shift-left testing.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering or QA, including manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or Pytest.
- Experience with CI/CD systems including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Git and build or package tools such as Maven, npm, or pip.
- Understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Debugging and troubleshooting experience using Splunk, Kibana, or similar observability platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of software delivery pipelines and release processes.
- Experience in or strong interest in the security or cybersecurity domain.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Cursor or Claude for development, debugging, and test generation.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical application in software engineering workflows.
