Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and performant software solutions.
- Improve AI/ML infrastructure for model development, training, and deployment, focusing on large language models and generative AI architectures.
- Shape long-term direction for text generation, image synthesis, multimodal models, and personalized content creation.
- Architect systems that make complex datasets more accessible and actionable for AI models.
- Design and implement prompt engineering strategies for generative AI models.
- Collaborate with product, practices, sales, customer success, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize applied AI use cases.
- Analyze product usage patterns and trends to support data-driven decisions and forecasts.
- Maintain the security of protected patient health information and support compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop APIs and interfaces that integrate generative AI capabilities into healthcare systems and applications.
- Partner with engineering managers, product managers, and stakeholders on technical roadmaps; mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience building full-stack web applications on cross-functional teams.
- At least 3 years of experience with SQL or another database querying language on large, multi-table datasets.
- At least 2 years of experience serving as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
- At least 2 years of experience coaching other engineers.
