Base Salary
$95k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable SAP platform capabilities across the full software development lifecycle.
- Define strategic architecture for enterprise payroll solutions with scalability, compliance, security, performance, and operational resilience.
- Design and implement payroll processing, retroactive accounting, taxation, garnishments, benefits deductions, time integration, off-cycle payments, and year-end processing capabilities.
- Build and integrate scalable applications across SAP and non-SAP enterprise platforms.
- Provide strategic technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and coordinate work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence for Walmart’s payroll modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in ABAP, ABAP HR, ABAP OO, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, Enhancements, Forms, Interfaces, Workflow, and SAP Integration technologies.
- Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance applications and integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
- Experience with EPI-USE Variance Monitor and SOLMAN/ALM tools.
- Experience integrating SAP with Workday, ServiceNow, SAP Finance (FI), SuccessFactors, cloud services, and custom applications.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, system architecture patterns, security, performance optimization, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus five years of software engineering or related experience, or seven years of software engineering or related experience.
