Responsibilities
- Contribute to team projects and goals with support from other engineers
- Build purchase protection functionality, including disputes and refunds, and agent tooling for international servicing
- Collaborate proactively with stakeholders and communicate risks and trade-offs
- Balance speed and quality while protecting systems from downtime
- Participate in team growth and development activities
- Participate in a required on-call rotation
Requirements
- Previous work or internship experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue
- Previous work or internship experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Python or Kotlin
- Ability to translate business scenarios into solutions spanning multiple software components
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, extensible code
- Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging others’ code, and participating in code reviews
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with global engineering teams
