Responsibilities
- Own the Cloud Foundry platform lifecycle, including architecture, deployment, upgrades, scaling, decommissioning, and disaster recovery.
- Improve platform reliability and performance through capacity planning, proactive monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-mortem analysis.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Evaluate, integrate, and contribute upstream to Cloud Foundry components and ecosystem projects.
- Automate platform provisioning, configuration, scaling, and self-healing.
- Evaluate and integrate services with the platform to improve the developer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
- Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Golang, Python, or Bash.
- Ideally, experience with Cloud Foundry, BOSH, other runtimes, or cloud technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems.
- Ability to work proactively and goal-oriented in international teams.
- Passion for supporting customers and colleagues.
