Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production agents on NEO from prototype through production.
- Build production-grade Graph RAG and retrieval systems using knowledge graphs, vector search, chunking, ranking, and grounding strategies.
- Design episodic and semantic agent memory with recall, summarization, and decay policies.
- Manage entitlement-, lineage-, and tenant-aware organizational context for secure agent reasoning.
- Compose multi-agent workflows with A2A and integrate tools and data through MCP servers.
- Build task-level and end-to-end evaluations, regression suites, LLM-as-judge systems, and quality and safety gates.
- Deploy and operate agent solutions on AWS and/or Azure with strong SDLC, security, resiliency, and observability practices.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to deliver supported agents and improve system architecture and coding hygiene.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and at least 3 years of applied experience working on AI/ML solutions.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced programming ability, especially in Python, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, and statistics.
- Production experience building LLM-powered or agentic applications, including tracing, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Deep proficiency with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, micro-VM isolation, sidecar architectures, network and mTLS security, workload identity, fine-grained authorization, runtime isolation, and application-level guardrails.
- Practical RAG experience with retrieval quality, embeddings, and vector stores, plus expert knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data management and data model design, including real-time processing with SQL and NoSQL stores.
- Experience partnering with senior technical and business stakeholders and proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Preferred qualifications include an MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes agent frameworks or runtimes, A2A, MCP, agent memory, organizational context management, knowledge graphs, graph databases, Graph RAG, LLM fine-tuning, small language model inference, modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, financial or payments technology, Go, or Rust.
