Base Salary
$124k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend content-tooling experiences using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Design and implement backend services and APIs using technologies such as Kotlin and Java
- Create tools that help PMs and designers generate, manage, localize, and deploy product content at scale
- Integrate custom GPTs and other LLMs into product-content workflows
- Embed content tools into A/B testing platforms and enable teams to test and ship variants with minimal engineering dependency
- Build automation pipelines from variant generation through experimentation and deployment of winning variants
- Write production-quality code, participate in code reviews, and optimize performance and reliability across the stack
- Partner with content designers, product designers, PMs, AI infrastructure, design systems, and localization teams across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo
- Define and track metrics including speed to ship, adoption, quality, and content-designer time saved
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience as a Design Engineer, UX Engineer, or Senior Software Engineer building complex internal tools or platforms
- Strong frontend engineering skills with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and component libraries
- Solid backend engineering experience
- Experience integrating internal services, experimentation platforms, feature flags, and infrastructure systems
- Ability to partner with designers or content strategists to translate workflows into scalable products
- Systems thinking and comfort designing for multi-product, multi-brand environments
- Strong problem-solving and cross-stack debugging skills
- Comfort working in ambiguous, cross-functional environments with multiple dependencies
- Experience building internal platforms for non-engineering audiences is preferred
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, LLM integrations, or evaluation pipelines is preferred
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across distributed teams is preferred
