Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain network automation using Cisco CNC, Cisco NSO, Nokia NSP, Python, APIs, and related platforms.
- Automate network configuration, maintenance, validation, monitoring, compliance, and remediation across multi-vendor infrastructure.
- Build pre-checks and post-checks for routing, interfaces, adjacencies, reachability, and overall network health.
- Detect and remediate configuration drift, device synchronization issues, and deviations from network engineering standards.
- Integrate automation with inventory, telemetry, monitoring, alarming, ticketing, and source-of-truth systems.
- Develop telemetry-driven and closed-loop automation for issue detection and automated remediation.
- Troubleshoot controller, API integration, network automation, and device-level problems and perform root-cause analysis.
- Create operational tooling, dashboards, documentation, and runbooks while maintaining testing, version control, rollback, change validation, and blast-radius controls.
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of service provider networking, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, SNMP, and network telemetry.
- Professional experience supporting or engineering large-scale service provider networks.
- Experience with network automation and orchestration platforms such as Cisco CNC, Cisco NSO, Nokia NSP, or similar technologies.
- Strong Python scripting skills for network automation, tooling, and API integrations.
- Experience with REST APIs, NETCONF/RESTCONF, YANG, or other network programmability technologies.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and troubleshooting network automation platforms and integrations.
- Experience with network monitoring, telemetry, configuration validation, and operational troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing, and software development practices for production network automation.
- Associate degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience in software engineering, network engineering, or network automation support roles.
