Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction by acting as both tech lead and architect.
- Own larger initiatives, including technical design creation and reviews.
- Influence the overall technical roadmap for the team.
- Drive feature development and launch through sprint planning.
- Challenge product requirements and drive consensus for improved solutions.
- Take full ownership of landing features and perform hands-on coding.
- Uphold high standards for coding practices and serve as a mentor for junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of industry experience.
- Basic understanding of cloud security practices.
- Experience building full stack cloud applications.
- Familiarity with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker.
- Experience with SQL query/schema optimization.
- Ability to debug and fix performance issues.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Leadership mindset and self-learning attitude.
