Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale, interactive web-based visual analytics tools for AI/ML workloads.
- Build fluid data visualizations such as flame graphs, call trees, and timeline charts for massive multidimensional telemetry datasets.
- Partner with compiler engineers and hardware architects to translate performance-profiling metrics into clear developer workflows.
- Optimize the developer experience for machine learning performance profiling and help engineers diagnose inference bottlenecks.
- Communicate with users, partners, and management to deliver systems on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years, master’s degree plus 8+ years, or PhD plus 5+ years of industry experience.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing rich interactive data visualizations and user interfaces with modern web technologies.
- Experience or strong interest in developer tools, IDE extensions, or complex diagnostic dashboards.
- Ability to turn massive, unstructured, or multidimensional telemetry and profiling data into intuitive visual representations.
- Experience designing workflows for software engineers, data scientists, or researchers that reduce cognitive load and streamline root-cause diagnosis.
- Hands-on experience with or strong curiosity about systems profiling and tracing tools such as Perfetto, Chrome Tracing, NVIDIA Nsight Systems, NVIDIA Nsight Compute, PyTorch Profiler, TensorBoard, and eBPF.
- Understanding of CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, interconnects, networking, and common performance bottlenecks.
- Working knowledge of PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, LLM inference, pipeline parallelism, tensor parallelism, or kernel dispatch is a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, communication, curiosity, and adaptability skills.
