$170k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain security systems for SpaceX systems, networks, and data.
- Develop and operate authentication, identity, multi-factor authentication, network access control, authorization, and identity lifecycle management services.
- Build scripts and automation supporting information security teams and partner organizations.
- Maintain network security systems and backend infrastructure, application security controls such as web application firewalls, and cloud security policy enforcement.
- Manage centralized configuration management and monitoring for secure cloud deployments.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for security solutions, documenting technologies and advising other teams.
- Identify threats and problem areas with security and IT teams and implement scalable, repeatable, maintainable, and secure improvements.
- Collaborate with information security, physical security, IT, HR, legal, software, and other teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional security software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience with Python, Go, C#, or Rust.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or other enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Experience with secure code development practices, Linux, Windows, macOS system internals, PKI, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, TPMs, and HSMs.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP-based protocols.
- Familiarity with web-based APIs, HTTP-RPC, REST, enterprise security controls, code signing, and enterprise application deployment on macOS and Windows.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
Benefits
