Base Salary
$165k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
- Create new applications that improve operational efficiency.
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and technical constraints.
- Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
- Deep dive into user problems to create efficient solutions.
- Participate in team collaborations on architecture, design, and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline and 5+ years of software development experience, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar languages.
- 1+ years of experience building single page web applications.
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, and delivery concepts.
- Expertise in designing software systems and improving application performance.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and UNIX-like operating systems.
