Base Salary
$155k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and improve scalable full-stack web applications and internal tools.
- Develop reliable backends, responsive user interfaces, data aggregation pipelines, and performance enhancements.
- Analyze problems, identify dependencies, resolve issues, and drive implementation.
- Write and review design documents, tests, and code using technologies such as JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional users and stakeholders to identify pain points and devise technical solutions.
- Provide subject-matter expertise and apply relevant Google technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- Six years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- Experience with frontend languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with backend languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL database technologies.
- Preferred experience designing maintainable software across frontend and backend ecosystems, including Angular, TypeScript, Python, Go, and Java.
- Preferred experience building scalable APIs, managing SQL/NoSQL schemas, and handling real-time data or micro-frontends.
- Preferred experience debugging bottlenecks, optimizing page load, and implementing OWASP security best practices.
- Preferred experience integrating generative AI/LLM tools, RAG pipelines, and APIs.
- Ability to drive end-to-end execution, define requirements in ambiguous environments, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor engineers.
